Boot Logo & CarPlay Home Icon - How to Change Them

What you'll need

Boot logo image
Portrait image, 720 x 1600 resolution
File name: boot_logo.JPG (the .JPG must be UPPERCASE)
Size under 100 KB

CarPlay home icon
200 x 200 pixels
File name: link_home.png
Size under 20 KB

Two ways to replace them
We recommend OTA - it works 100% of the time.

Method 1: OTA (recommended)

1. On your screen, go to Settings > System > WiFi Settings, turn on WiFi, and connect to a network.
2. Connect your computer to the same WiFi network. It must be wireless - Connecting to the network using an Ethernet cable is not working.
3. On the screen, go to Settings > System > OTA Upgrade. You'll see a web address.
4. Open any browser on your computer and enter that address.
5. Upload your boot_logo.JPG or link_home.png - done.

Method 2: TF card

Drop the image file into the root directory of a TF card (not inside any folder), insert it into the screen's TF slot, and that's it.
